alright. i finally found myself a job. went for the interview last week. n guess what. it's another door to door sales n marketing company - granton singapore ptd ltd.
initially i was turned off when i realise that it's a door to door job. but becos im alrdy v broke. so i got no choice but to keep an open mind n see what the job can offer me.
well the pay is gd. i'll get 10-15 bucks for every sales i close. n the items involved r discount cards for some of the established restaurants n beauty centers. restaurants like fig & olive n organic cafe n etc. beauty centers like adonis n mary chia n etc. n the card allows the user to have 1 for 1 offer or discount for the main course n free/discount facial services. sth like that.
obviously this company is way much better than NC. when i was in NC. i only get 3-5 bucks per sale. normally i'll hit 5 sales n earn around 20 bucks. so if i want to earn 30 bucks for the day. i got to hit 10 sales.
from my experience i can say that 10 sales is v unlikely in 2-3 hrs. unless there's a v gd reason for the customer to buy the item. can any1 come out with a gd reason y the customer should buy a ridiculous box of pencils or photo frames? lol.
however in granton. i just have to hit 3 sales to earn that 30 bucks. n if i hit 5 sales onwards. it'll be 15 bucks per sale. cool right? i mean it's easy. trust me. a trained monkey can do 2-3 sales per day. :) furthermore at the end of the mth. if my total pay is less than 600 bucks. they'll top it up for me. lol. i wonder if it's true or not.
anyway. the items n $$ in granton seems appealing to me. so i thought to myself y not i give it a try. since i've got door to door sales experience b4. so it shouldnt be much of a problem to me to hit a few sales. 3 sales a day should be ok for me.
so far i've worked for 1 week. i was kind of rusty for the 1st few days. but after a few practices it's was ok for me alrdy.
for my 1st few days. i was trained by this guy n he's v gd. he has got the motivation n the ppl skills. it's the 1st time i've seen such a gd sales person b4. it's his ppl skills that impressed me. lol. n later on i came to knew that he's so gd becos he's got 30 over yrs of sales exp. no wonder haha.
after the few days of training. i was left alone. although sometimes he'll help me out with 1 sales. anyway i got myself a few sales. earned a bit of $$. n i'll be taking my pay on monday. hehe.
i dont know how long i'll stay in the company. even though the pay n item is gd. i dont like the working days. got to work 5 days per week. i'll try to negotiate to 4 days. hopefully they'll allow.
sem exams r coming in 3 weeks time. got to study alrdy. hopefully they can cut the working days to 4. so that i've time to prepare for my exams b4 the revision week. lucky they allow me to take leave during my exam period. or else i'll be quiting v soon. lol.
hmm so far my plan seems to be on track. once the pay is coming in i'll carry on with my next step. maybe i'll find a myself a v pretty girlfriend. lol! just joking lah. :P anyway i doubt i'll have time for a relationship now. becos there r so many things i want to do. but well we'll see. but 1st i got to get my 1st step right. so just relax n be cool. hehe.
